18th Annual Conference of Islamic Circle of Japan concluded successfully held in Quba Masjid on January 17,2009.Renewed personalities,Dawah workers , scholars were among the hundreds of participants of the conference held every year.about more than 450 persons from different parts of Japan including Hokiado,Toyama,Nagano,Tochigi,Kanagawa,Tokyo,Gunma,Chiba Ibaraki,Saitama prefectures attended the conference.Br.Sirajul Haq ,a renowned Dawah worker from Pakistan participated as chief guest .He delivered two lectures in first and last session including his lecture on the MOtto of the camp which was the Ayah 115 of Surah Al-Moominoon. Prof.Dr.Kamal Okuda ,Professor in the Policy Studies department of famous Keiyo university in Japan also attended and addressed the conference. Among the other main speakers who addressed the conference are,out going Ameer of Br.Ishrat Hashmi, Shaykh Abu Hakeem Ahmad Maeno,an active Dawah worker and head of Dawah & Tarbiyah wing of ICOJ for Japanese , Ustaz Saleem,Director Keyoto Bunka center & Br.Badurudeen besides others.

Various programmes were conducted in English,Japanese & Urdu language simultaneously besides programme for children as well. Separate programmes were held for Japanese speaking sisters as well for Urdu speaking sisters.

Besides the speakers who attended and adressed the confrenece two lectures were arranged through video conference from renowned scholars of UK.The first lecture was by Br.Sarfaraz Madni,President UK Islamic Mission and another by Shyakh Kamal Alhalviy , founder of WAMY.

During the last session secretary general of ICOJ,brother Khurram Tehseen presented the Annual report describing the progress of year 2009.He also presented the report of Baitul Mall of ICOJ.

Finally the chief guest, who also acted as election comissioner for the elctions of new Ameer and members of shoora for the session 2010,declared the names of Ameer e Circle and administred the oath .Br.Amanat Ali was entrusted with the responsibility as the Ameer of Islamic Circle of Japan for year 2010.Br.Amanat Ali ,42 year old from Gujrawala Pakistan has been associated with ICOJ for more than a decade and has served as secretary General and Vice President earlier.A 13 memeber Shoora was also elected and administered oath by the chief guest.
