10 year Faraz Abid who has been a regular student of Hira Evening School completed the recitation of Holy Qura`n .(Alhamdulillah).On February6,Saturday,during the regular weekly Dars of Quran a brief ceremony was held during which Faraz Abid recited some portions of Surah Baqara and few surahs from Juz 30.At the end on behalf of Hira Masjid,Vice president of ICOJ Br.Khurrum Tehseen presented a gift to Faraz Abid on the occasion.

13 member Majlis Shoora met to discuss planning for year 2010 on Sunday,January 24.

Newly elected Ameer e Circle ,Br.Amanat Ali after consultation with central Majlis Shoora nominated and administered the oath to two vice presidents Br.Khurram Tehseen and Br.Fyaz Mughal.45 years Br.Khurram Tehseen has been associated with Islamic Circle of Japan for long time and has served in capacity of General Secretary during 2008 and 2009.Br.Fyaz Mughal has been earlier responsible for the Halqa Zaid Bin Harith(RA) besides having served as Incharge of Masjid e Quba affairs.
Ameer e Circle also nominated incharge for various other departments of ICOJ including Baitul Mall ,Relief & Welfare,Publication,Education & Children Wing ,Shahadah & Marriage Bureau,Islamic Audio & Video,Islamic Book Service,Burial(Tajheez u Takfeen),JMF ,etc .Japanese Wing for the Dawah and Tarbiyah will be headed by Shaykh Abu Hakeem Maeno during the session 2010 as well.The Japanese Wing will exclusively focus on the Dawah & Tarbiyah among Japanese .

The weekly Arabic class for understanding of Quran will be broadcasted live through website of Islamic Circle of Japan on every Saturday from 6.30 pm to 7.30.The weekly class is taken by Shyakh Abu Hakeem Ahmad Maeno in Hira Masjid .Shyakh Abu Hakeem has completed his graduation in Shariya from reputed Fatih Institute of Damascus,Syria and is considered among the good Japanese Arabic teachers besides being an active Dawah worker.The medium of teaching will be Japanese and course is designed to make the reading & understanding of Qura`n easy for Japanese national .Those who wish to join the class can log on to www.icoj.org or can attend in the Hira Masjid as well.

18th Annual Conference of Islamic Circle of Japan concluded successfully held in Quba Masjid on January 17,2009.Renewed personalities,Dawah workers , scholars were among the hundreds of participants of the conference held every year.about more than 450 persons from different parts of Japan including Hokiado,Toyama,Nagano,Tochigi,Kanagawa,Tokyo,Gunma,Chiba Ibaraki,Saitama prefectures attended the conference.Br.Sirajul Haq ,a renowned Dawah worker from Pakistan participated as chief guest .He delivered two lectures in first and last session including his lecture on the MOtto of the camp which was the Ayah 115 of Surah Al-Moominoon. Prof.Dr.Kamal Okuda ,Professor in the Policy Studies department of famous Keiyo university in Japan also attended and addressed the conference. Among the other main speakers who addressed the conference are,out going Ameer of Br.Ishrat Hashmi, Shaykh Abu Hakeem Ahmad Maeno,an active Dawah worker and head of Dawah & Tarbiyah wing of ICOJ for Japanese , Ustaz Saleem,Director Keyoto Bunka center & Br.Badurudeen besides others.
